Famous magazine editor from the United States yesterday decided chose the Ebola fighters as Person Of The Year. Previously, two days ago, according to the version of TIME readers poll, Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi became the winner of the Person of the Year.

“Doctors, nurses, and anyone who is struggling with the Ebola virus with courage and timeless crowned Person Of The Year,” said the editorial TIME, as reported by the Associated Press news agency on Wednesday (10/12).

In the second place there is the demonstrators Ferguson, followed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, then President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Massoud Barzani, and Jack Ma, founder of the China-based Alibaba sites.

TIME editor Nancy Gibbs praised the people in the field who are fighting against Ebola, including the organization Doctors Without Borders and other institutions from all over the world. Those whom are doctors, nurses, ambulance teams and burial of victims.

“Most of the world’s population can sleep well because there is a group of people, men and women, who fought against Ebola,” he said.
