“The first hydrogen bomb North Korea successfully launched on January 6, 2016, at 10 am. The report is based on the strategy undertaken Workers’ Party,” said North Korean state television.

The bomb test resulted triggering a 5.1-magnitude earthquake rocked the capital Pyongyang.

It made North Korea has come under fire from various countries such as Japan, South Korea, and the United States. The UN Security Council immediately held a meeting to discuss this issue.

“We condemn any violation of UN Security Council Resolution, and once again urges North Korea abide by its international obligations and commitments,” said a spokesman for the US mission at the UN Security Council, Hagar Chemali.

North Korean explanations that were tested are hydrogen bombs, not nuclear, is derived from the official news agency KCNA.

“This weapon is the next stage of nuclear power. This weapon can be a way to realize the revolutionary victory of the Korean people,” the press statement Pyongyang.

North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, led directly detonation of the hydrogen bomb it. The bomb claimed to be attached to the cross-continental missiles.

The UN Security Council immediately held a meeting today, because the trial is not expected that. Closed meeting of the 15 member countries was proposed by the United Nations and Japan.

Pyongyang has conducted three nuclear tests earlier, namely in 2006, 2009 and 2013, triggering a series of economic sanctions of the United Nations.

“We condemn any violation of UN Security Council Resolution, and once again urges North Korea abide by its international obligations and commitments,” said a spokesman for the US mission at the UN Security Council, Hagar Chemali.

Western countries were surprised because North Korea’s claim about the hydrogen bomb is more dangerous than expected. This closed socialist state initially suspected new master nuclear bomb technology. Hydrogen bomb had destroyed power greater than the atomic bomb.

“With this kind of capability, North Korea has actually become a real threat to the United States,” said Michael Madden, North Korea watchers.

The nuclear expert Joe Cirincione, still doubt the North’s really capable of producing the hydrogen bomb. He suspected that tested this morning is a mixture of isotopes of hydrogen and atomic bomb.

“From the side of the explosion, has not entered scale multi-megaton hydrogen bomb as they should,” said Joe.

China even as an ally of North Korea condemned the North Korean steps to test weapons of mass destruction. Beijing has issued a statement that Pyongyang action could destabilize the region. “What does North Korea unwanted anyone and very unwise,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement as reported by Reuters.

While Russia has also become an ally North Korea has not given an official statement.
